A leading company in the food industry is seeking a full-time Maintenance Mechanic in Dallas, Texas. This role involves troubleshooting and repairing various systems, including electrical and mechanical. Successful candidates will have strong multi-craft repair skills and the ability to work under pressure. The position offers industry-leading pay and benefits, including health insurance and a 401(k) plan.
Work Schedule: Nights - 3.5-day schedule, 6pm to 6am, Wed, Thurs, Fri, & Sat. Off Days - Sun, Mon & Tue.
This is a full-time experienced Maintenance Mechanic position responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and installing pneumatic and hydraulic systems, control valves, centrifugal and positive displacement pumps. Maintenance Mechanics also troubleshoot and repair AC/DC electrical systems, read schematics, and use electrical testing equipment (Volt-Ohm meter, amp meter, oscilloscope). Our experienced Mechanics have extensive understanding of Programmable Logic Controls and contribute through preventative maintenance systems and work order tracking. They have the skill and flexibility to work on any equipment within the facility and operate lathes, mills, arc and Heliarc welders for repair and fabrication.

To succeed, professional knowledge of equipment operation is essential. Do you have electrical certification, maintenance experience, technical school training, or welding experience? If so, you may be well-equipped. A proven base knowledge of mechanical and electrical repair (especially multi-craft) is preferred, with at least two years of training in a manufacturing environment being ideal.
