Job summary

Raymond Building Supply, a Division of US LBM Holdings, LLC, is seeking a Mechanic to maintain and repair equipment at our Southwest Florida facilities. This role involves forklifts and trucks, basic engine work, and strict adherence to safety procedures. You will perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs, keep clear records, and assist in general building tasks. A high school diploma is required; forklift certification on hire; CDL preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; additional related training may be necessary.
• Basic understanding of electronics, hydraulics, brakes, welding and general maintenance.
• Experience in warehouse maintenance or vehicle background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain work area and equipment in clean, safe condition.
• Perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs as directed by supervisor.
• Repair equipment per manufacturer specs and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Train associates in warehouse equipment repair.
