A Maintenance Mechanic, Encapsulation role focuses on maintaining encapsulation equipment, supporting installation, qualification, and operation of new devices, and documenting work to support GMP-compliant operations.
The position requires 3+ years in pharma/food/chemical maintenance, strong troubleshooting, and the ability to work 6 PM – 6 AM with 2-2-3 shift, onsite in Winchester, KY.
Catalent’s Winchester, KY site is the company’s flagship U.S. manufacturing location for large‑scale oral solid dose forms, operating from a 180,000‑square‑foot facility with fully integrated development and analytical services. The site specializes in complex and controlled‑release oral dose technologies, supporting product development, technology transfer, and commercial manufacturing across pharmaceutical and consumer health programs. Winchester has a long commercial manufacturing track record, having launched 100+ products and producing billions of tablets and capsules annually, making it a critical site within Catalent’s oral dose network.
We have an opportunity for a Maintenance Mechanic, Encapsulation to join our team. In this role, you will maintain process and utility equipment as well as building infrastructure related to manufacturing. You will support installation, qualification, and operation of new equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and provide effective repairs. This position requires close communication with leadership and accurate documentation of work performed.
Shift: 6 PM - 6 AM 2-2-3.
Location: Winchester, KY.
100% Onsite.
