Job summary

Green Bay Packaging is seeking a Maintenance Electrician for the 3rd shift to support production operations. The role involves installing and repairing electrical systems and components on industrial machinery, diagnosing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues, and performing repairs to keep equipment running smoothly.

The position requires at least two years of electrical experience in manufacturing, reading blueprints, and a focus on safety.

Qualifications

  • Two (2) or more years of electrical experience in a manufacturing setting is required.
  • Technical diploma or equivalent practical experience preferred.
  • Must be able to read blueprints and/or schematics.
  • Requires knowledge of setup, standard operating procedures and maintenance for machinery/equipment.
  • Focus on safety and safe work practices including Lock out/Tag out.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic or hydraulic system problems on production equipment and repair as needed.
  • Install and repair electrical systems and electrical/electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment; other duties as required.
  • Work closely with the maintenance team and facilities manager to keep machines in working order for each shift.

The maintenance department works closely with production managers to ensure machines are operating effectively, following predictive and preventive maintenance procedures, as well as doing on-the-spot repairs and participating in large projects like machine installation. The maintenance team is also responsible for general facilities, maintenance and repair.

Maintenance Electrician 3rd Shift

  • Installs and repairs electrical systems and electrical/electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment; other duties as required.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose causes of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and/or hydraulic system problems on production equipment and implement the most feasible method of repair.
  • Will work closely with the maintenance team and/or facilities manager to ensure machines are in working order for each shift.

Compensation & Benefits

Wages start at $32.03 /hour, salary to commensurate with experience
