Job summary

Trident Seafoods is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide range of machinery and electrical equipment. The role requires hands-on capability with mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automated controls.

A strong safety mindset and ability to read technical manuals are essential. Work encompasses first shift duties in a production environment, with weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Production Maintenance.
• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, conveyors and bagging machines.
• One year certificate from college or technical school.
• Basic electrical and automation controls.
• 3-5 years of experience in production maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain machinery and electrical equipment.
• Inspect and adjust equipment to meet specs.
• Operate drill press, grinder, saws and other metalworking tools to make/repair parts.
• Follow safety policies and procedures and participate in required training.
• Document maintenance activities and use CMMS for work orders.
