Job summary

Trident Seafoods in Washington state is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to troubleshoot, repair and maintain motors, conveyors, gearboxes and hydraulic systems on the 1st shift. You will diagnose faults, dismantle parts, test equipment and perform preventive maintenance to keep production running smoothly.

A HS diploma or technical certificate is required, with familiarity in hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical controls and conveyors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of production maintenance experience.
• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, conveyors and bagging machines.
• One year certificate from college or technical school.
• Basic electrical and automation controls.
• 3-5 years of experience in production maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Observe and diagnose mechanical issues.
• Dismantle devices to access and replace defective parts.
• Inspect parts for wear and dimensional accuracy.
• Repair or replace defective components and install new parts.
• Set up and operate shop tools to fabricate or repair parts.
• Maintain compliance with safety and environmental policies.
