Job summary

Trident Seafoods in Motley, MN is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to troubleshoot, repair, install and adjust industrial production and processing equipment for our food-processing facilities.

This full-time night shift (6pm–6am, 7 on / 7 off) offers comprehensive benefits, paid time off, holidays, and a 401(k) with company match. Candidates should have 2+ years in food plant or industrial maintenance and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of food plant experience or 2 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics and conveying systems is beneficial.
• Knowledge of sanitary welding (food contact surfaces) and preventive maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots, repairs, installs and adjusts industrial equipment.
• Operates lathe, drill press, grinder, saws and other metalworking tools.
• Initiates purchase orders for parts and machines.
• Tests and tunes equipment to meet performance specifications.
• Participates in HazMat team training.
