Cascades in Piscataway, NJ is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to perform routine maintenance and repair on corrugating and converting equipment, including but not limited to corrugators, flexo folder gluers, die cutters, and related machinery.

You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, conduct preventive maintenance, collaborate with production and engineering teams, participate in installations as needed, and uphold safety standards while supporting a

Formación

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Millwright/Mechanic in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of mechanical drive; basic electricity, motors, drives, and some knowledge of PLC.
• Experience with troubleshooting and repairing electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems is an asset.
• Knowledge of predictive and preventive maintenance practices.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on corrugating and converting equipment (e.g., corrugators, flexo folder gluers, die cutters).
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure reliability of machinery.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify equipment improvements.
• Participate in installation, commissioning, and decommissioning of machinery as needed.
• Adhere to safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
