Job summary

Western Quality Foods in Cedar City, UT seeks a maintenance technician to keep the Ultra Filter system and plant equipment running efficiently. You will perform general and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs with limited supervision while supporting operators.

Candidate should have strong industrial maintenance skills, knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems, pneumatics, and welding. PLC experience is a plus; role adheres to GMP and sanitation requirements.

Qualifications

• Maintenance proficiency across general and preventative tasks on industrial equipment.
• Understanding of AC/DC electrical systems and mechanics; pneumatics knowledge.
• Welding and PLC experience are a plus; ability to troubleshoot and repair plant machinery.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all systems and equipment for the Ultra Filter system.
• Perform general and preventative maintenance, overhauls, and modifications.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues; assist operator as needed.
• Follow GMP, food safety, and sanitation requirements.
