Job summary

Cargill in Schuyler, NE is seeking a full-time Maintenance Associate to support our protein and salt operations. You will operate equipment, perform daily setup, and troubleshoot to keep lines running smoothly.

Ideal candidates will have maintenance experience, basic tools knowledge, and English fluency. Must be 18+, eligible to work in the United States, and commit to safe, quality production with team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to read, write and speak English.
• Knowledge of basic tools and maintenance related subjects.
• Previous experience in maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy machinery (including forklift) or computer programs.
• Use a variety of tools and retrieve parts.
• Conduct daily set-up of area.
• Troubleshooting.
• Working around or with machinery and power sources such as electricity.
• Ensuring safety, food safety and quality.
• Cleanliness and housekeeping.
• Maintaining a safe working environment.
• Participating on various teams such as HAZMAT.
