Job Description:

• Pay Rate: $21.00 to $25.00 per hour
• This is not a current open position. This is a talent community wait list for future openings.

Responsibilities:

Essential Job Functions:

• Maintains the safe, efficient, and proper operations of a variety of the distribution center equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoots and repairs all equipment related to operations and facility maintenance, including conveyor systems, MHE, HVAC systems, air compressors, dock equipment, plumbing fixtures, etc.
• Constructs, installs, repairs, and maintains equipment.
• Completes tests, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs independently and as directed.
• Reads and understands basic blueprints.
• Has a basic understanding of carpentry and mechanics, including hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Completes and maintains maintenance logs and documentation related to maintenance actions and parts usage.
• Performs light fabrication as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum of three years’ experience in a maintenance environment with proven knowledge and proficiency.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and welding.
• Effective and clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with OSHA / NFPA standards.
• Ability to operate all shop equipment and hand tools.
• Maintains safe work practices, including PPE, LOTO, and ARC Flash requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs constantly and up to 75 lbs as needed.
• Comfort working at heights and in outside climates.
• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift and work in a team environment.
• Initiative to take on tasks above and beyond their role.
• Familiarity with computer operation and tablets.
