Job summary

ADUSA Distribution is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic B to perform maintenance tasks and repairs on facilities and equipment inside and outside the facility. You will work in a learning environment with potential progression based on assessment by management.

The role requires mechanical and electrical aptitude, ability to operate across various maintenance areas, and readiness to train and mentor others. Strong adherence to safety and regulatory standards is expected as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Successful completion of assessment to demonstrate experience and proficiency.
• Candidates should show capability in safety, electrical, refrigeration, material handling, mechanical, welding, fire systems, or domestic water/waste water.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all equipment and facilities are operating effectively and meet standards and regulatory requirements.
• Carry out duties productively and learn through training/job shadowing.
• Enter work into the computer maintenance system to track repairs and history.
• Perform routine repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment and systems.
• Safely shut down systems and equipment following standards and regulations.
• Troubleshoot and assist other mechanics in system work.
• Meet evaluation standards on work orders and observations by management.
• Provide guidance and training to Maintenance Support Associates.
• Stay current with maintenance trades and new technology via training.
• Suggest modifications to procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
