Job summary

ADUSA Distribution is seeking a Mechanic I to perform routine repairs and preventive maintenance on warehouse equipment. You will work safely and follow all safety rules while learning skills available through training and job shadowing.

Responsibilities include entering work into the maintenance system, safely shutting down systems, completing simple tasks, and ensuring equipment meets standards and regulations. Growth to Mechanic II is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Schematic / blueprint reading.
• Dexterity with both hands.
• Serves as resource to others in resolution of complex problems and issues.

Responsibilities

• Enter their work into the computer maintenance system throughout their work shift and able to use the system to look into repeat repairs and previous work performed on that equipment.
• Safely shut down systems they have been trained on.
• Perform simple tasks without instruction or guidance.
• Make sure all equipment meets standards, codes and regulatory requirements.
