Job summary

Nestlé Burlington is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to actively troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and systems. The role requires applying technical knowledge to keep assets at high standards and to support continuous operations.

The candidate will read diagrams and manuals, install new equipment, train colleagues, and uphold Nestlé safety and quality standards. Relocation assistance may be available and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED and 3–5 years of related experience.
• Proficiency in machinist/millwright/welder/pipe fitter roles.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic principles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, disassemble, and troubleshoot complex packaging machinery and other manufacturing equipment.
• Fabricate, assemble, repair, and use the Nestlé software reporting system for work orders and Preventative Maintenance.
• Repair and use material handling equipment including pallet jacks, forklifts, and hoists.
• Read blueprints, diagrams, and machinery manuals to diagnose problems and verify operation.
• Install new equipment as necessary and train others on tasks.
