Job summary

Nestlé Health Science is seeking a skilled Mechanic B to maintain and troubleshoot production and facility equipment on a day shift (7AM–7PM). You will follow safety, preventive maintenance, and quality standards, with mentorship to less-experienced teammates.

The role requires 5+ years in maintenance (mechanical/electrical/electronic) within manufacturing, strong diagnostic skills, blueprint reading, and CMMS experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of mechanical, electrical, or electronic maintenance experience.
• 5+ years in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Mechanical/electrical trade background; technical school or Journeyman training preferred.
• CMMS experience strongly recommended.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and mentoring skills.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and produce basic sketches.
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, machine shop tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Skilled in root cause analysis and operating machining/welding equipment.

Responsibilities

• Promote a strong safety culture and follow SOPs and cGMPs.
• Perform emergency and scheduled repairs across production and facility equipment.
• Lubrication, cleaning, inspections, and diagnostics.
• Support Root Cause Analysis and continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain clean and organized work area; assist with training as needed.
