Job summary

Crafted Staff in Kent, WA, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for the 2nd shift (2:30pm–11pm). You will install, repair and maintain production equipment to ensure uptime and safe operation. US citizenship is required.

This hands-on role involves troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and collaborating with production teams. Applicants with 2–4 years of mechanic experience, forklift certification, and formal technical training are preferred.

Qualifications

2-4 years of mechanic experience.
Forklift certification required.
Formal training or apprenticeship in mechanical/industrial fields.
Knowledge of codes and regulations related to equipment and facilities.
Knowledge of shop math and precision measuring equipment.
Vacuum Furnace, CNC, PLC, X-Ray experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Install, repair and maintain production manufacturing equipment.
Inspect equipment for proper functioning and performs preventative maintenance duties, per manufacturer's specifications.
Diagnose basic equipment malfunctions and repairs.
Follow written instructions, sketches and documents.
Use hand and power tools as required.
Perform all work in accordance with established standards and safety procedures.
Work under direct oversight.
