Job summary

Belcan Corporation in Kent, WA is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for the 2nd shift (2:30pm - 11pm) starting right away. You will install, repair and maintain production equipment to keep downtime at a minimum and support continuous operation.

The role requires 2–4 years of mechanical experience and forklift certification, plus formal training or apprenticeship. Benefits include medical/dental, 401k, life and disability insurance, and on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of mechanic experience; forklift certification required.
• Formal training or apprenticeship in a related field such as mechanical, facilities, electrical, or hydraulic systems.
• Knowledge of codes and regulations related to equipment and facilities.
• Knowledge of shop math and precision measuring equipment.
• Vacuum Furnace, CNC, PLC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain production manufacturing equipment.
• Inspect equipment for proper functioning and perform preventative maintenance per manufacturer specifications.
• Diagnose basic equipment malfunctions and make repairs or adjustments efficiently.
• Follow written instructions, sketches and documents; use hand and power tools as required.
• Work under direct oversight and support continuous operation.
