Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking a dedicated Facilities Maintenance professional to maintain buildings, grounds, equipment and utilities for safe, efficient operation. You will respond to maintenance needs and support HVAC, electrical, plumbing and other systems to meet STAR standards.

The role requires 3 years of maintenance experience or equivalent education, with healthcare setting experience preferred. A HS diploma or equivalent and vocational training are desirable; Universal CFC license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responds to unscheduled, routine and emergency maintenance calls.
• Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on facility systems and equipment (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Painting, Mechanical).
• Works on construction and installation projects as required.
• Performs daily rounding within the Facility for safety and compliance purposes.
• Responds to emergency calls and on-call schedules as needed, including snow removal and disaster response.
• Complete documentation (work orders, log books, round log sheets).

Summary:

Healthcare environment experience preferred.

Required Education:

HS diploma or equivalent.

Hourly Rate: $26.00 - $39.11The actual salary/rate will vary based on applicant’s experience as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
