Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a maintenance technician to perform repairs and preventive maintenance on food processing equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role requires off-shift hours, overtime, and on-call availability to support continuous production.

Responsibilities include cleaning, lubricating, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery, while documenting work orders in an electronic system.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance inspections and service on machines.
• Thoroughly clean machines and machine parts, removing parts, and reinstalling as necessary.
• Oil and lubricate moving parts on machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Communicate damaged, worn, or broken parts to maintenance manager or tool supply specialist.
• Troubleshoot pneumatic, electric, and hydraulic machine problems and perform repairs.
• Install replacement belts, filters, gears, chains, and valves.
• Repair broken machines quickly and efficiently.
• Enter work orders and use an electronic maintenance system to track tasks.
• Keep a clean, organized, and safe workspace for parts and tools.
• Install equipment, including connecting air, water, gas lines and aligning/leveling equipment.
• Collaborate with the plant manager and production team on maintenance status and production interruptions.
• Make modifications and run test cycles; discuss results with the maintenance team and adjust as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Overview:Performs repairs and troubleshooting on food processing equipment including, but not limited to stuffers, vacuum pumps, mixers, grinders, packaging machinery, conveyors, and ovens.
