Job summary

Threshold Enterprises in Scotts Valley, CA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support manufacturing and packaging equipment. Under supervision, you will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and install equipment, and help minimize downtime.

You will maintain logs, assist with electrical fixes, ensure GMP compliance, and communicate status to management. A high school diploma and 2+ years of maintenance experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Two years general maintenance experience.
• Two year related experience with Packaging production line or manufacturing equipment.
• Good DMV printout.
• Ability to reach, lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to pass a company test with a minimum of 80%.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing and packaging line equipment to minimize line downtime. Maintain a maintenance log on each piece of equipment ready and available for inspection.
• Diagnose and correct problems under guidance of a manufacturing mechanic to optimize manufacturing and packaging line productivity and minimize downtime.
• Comply with G.M.P.s for the proper set-up, maintenance and operation of equipment.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts for manufacturing and packaging equipment.
• Investigate and correct minor electrical problems as needed.
• Follow company and OSHA hazardous material handling requirements.
• Clearly communicate with the Manager/Supervisor/ Planner regarding the status of projects.
• Communicate with management on open items and their progress.
• Perform all other tasks as assigned by Threshold management

Salary Range: $22.00 - $30.00 Hourly

Summary of Job Duties: Under supervision, perform a wide variety of skilled mechanical duties to maintain, troubleshoot and install manufacturing and packaging equipment. Perform repairs, modifications, and preventive maintenance on manufacturing and packaging equipment and systems.
