Job summary

Threshold Enterprises in Scotts Valley, CA, is seeking an Experienced Machine Operator to join our production team. You will set up machinery, monitor lines, replenish materials and ensure a consistent flow to meet production targets.

You will visually inspect output, document results, and report malfunctions. You will perform routine maintenance, follow GMP, safety practices, and SOPs, and work in a team with occasional off-shift hours. Strong English communication is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years machine operator experience required.
• Self-motivated and able to take initiative and use sound judgment.
• Punctual and reliable in work attendance.
• Flexible and able to manage others.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent English communication skills required; bilingual a plus.
• Working Conditions: Loud environment with exposure to powder and heavy equipment in a manufacturing atmosphere.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to read and write legibly in English.
• Ability to work multiple shifts and/or schedules.

• Salary Range: $18.50 - $18.50 Hourly

Summary of Job Duties

• Set up machinery and ensure all production materials are available.
• Operate and monitor equipment and replenish materials as needed.

Specific Job Duties

• Ensure that products meet applicable quality standards. This includes inspection for quality during operation and performing all required sampling and testing. Assure continuous and the smooth operation of the lines for required quality and quantity.
• Meet all safety expectations including wearing the required personnel protective equipment and follow all safe practices
• Collect and analyze data using skills in applied math
• Perform basic and routine maintenance activities
• Able to work outside normal scheduled hours and OT
• Use basic hand and power tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, hammers, drills etc.
• Work in a team environment and flow to the work and assist others
• Cross-training will occur throughout the facility in all aspects of high speed manufacturing.
• Ensuring Documentation in relation to Processor Operation Logs are fully completed, signed and in compliance with Company Standard and Regulatory Requirements.
• When out of compliance or standards not meet assist supervisor in completion of Deviation Report detailing both Short and Longer Term Corrective Action Steps.
• Ensure full compliance with Companies Policies, Procedures, GMP’s, Code of Safe Practices and SOP’s at all times.
• Assists Quality Assurance in obtaining samples of products and other miscellaneous duties.
• Disassemble, clean/sanitize and reassemble all required equipment
• Set up, maintain, monitor, adjust equipment, routine maintenance, troubleshoot as necessary to maintain product, quality, and safety specifications
• Communicate and interact with others in a manner consistent with the company’s “I Can Make a Difference" philosophies.
