Job summary

Threshold-Enterprise in Scotts Valley, CA is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing and packaging equipment. You will maintain logs, diagnose problems, and ensure GMP and OSHA compliance while minimizing downtime.

The role requires two years of maintenance experience, packaging line experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. DMV printout is required and testing with 80% pass rate is expected.

Qualifications

• Two years general maintenance experience.
• Two years related experience with packaging production line or manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to pass a company test with a minimum of 80%.
• Good DMV printout.
• Ability to reach, lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing and packaging line equipment.
• Diagnose and correct problems under guidance to optimize productivity and minimize downtime.
• Maintain a maintenance log on each piece of equipment.
• Comply with GMPs for setup, maintenance and operation of equipment.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts for manufacturing and packaging equipment.
• Investigate and correct minor electrical problems as needed.
• Follow OSHA hazardous material handling requirements.
• Clearly communicate status of projects to Manager/Supervisor/Planner.
• Communicate with management on open items and their progress.
• Perform all other tasks as assigned by Threshold management.

Summary of Job Duties: Under supervision, perform a wide variety of skilled mechanical duties to maintain, troubleshoot and install manufacturing and packaging equipment. Perform repairs, modifications, and preventive maintenance on manufacturing and packaging equipment and systems.Specific Job Duties:Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing and packaging line equipment to minimize line downtime.
