White Castle, America's first fast-food hamburger chain with over a century of service, is seeking a passionate Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at the Zanesville Meat Plant in Zanesville, OH. Position Overview

The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintaining and repairing production and facility equipment to ensure minimal downtime and maximum efficiency. This includes refrigeration systems, electrical components, hydraulics, pneumatics, and general building upkeep. The role requires following safety procedures and demonstrating our core values.

Shift Details

Full-Time, Non-Exempt (Hourly), 2nd shift – 1:30 pm to 10:00 pm or 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; 1-3 years of maintenance experience.
• Experience in refrigeration, electrical systems, electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding.
• Own basic hand tools.
• Knowledge of safety procedures, blueprints, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills, teamwork, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair production and facility equipment.
• Assemble/disassemble equipment, design and fabricate parts as needed.
• Perform safety checks and adhere to safety protocols.
• Complete maintenance logs and reports.
• Work variable hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds, work in noisy, hot/cold environments, and wear safety gear.
• Prolonged standing, walking, bending, and manual dexterity.
