ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned):

1. Must possess basic mechanical and electrical skills to assist or perform preventative and corrective tasks on process and facility equipment. Knowledge of proper use of hand and power tools, as well as all special equipment tools, is required. Maintain a high standard of personal integrity and conduct, reflecting open, honest communication and respect for others.

2. Ability to complete daily computer tasks to keep PM and work orders up to date. Accuracy and clarity in documentation, parts, causes, comments, etc., are mandatory.

3. Be punctual and adhere to all safety policies, general manufacturing policies, and food safety guidelines.

4. Complete assigned tasks safely and efficiently. Demonstrate motivation to increase knowledge and gain experience in all aspects of the Maintenance field.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential duties of the job.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Must have the strength, stamina, and mobility to perform physical work in various conditions, including exposure to potentially hazardous environments. Visual acuity to read printed materials and computer screens; hearing and speech to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, or radio. Ability to stand for long periods on hard surfaces. Capable of performing continuous and repetitive motions, including lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, and reaching. Items may weigh over fifty pounds; team lift required for heavier objects. May work in hot or refrigerated environments for extended periods.
