Job Summary: As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment, such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines, using hand tools, power tools, and testing instruments, following diagrams, sketches, and manuals.

Core Responsibilities:

1. Diagnose and repair production equipment utilizing skills in hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics, electricity, compressors, and ovens.
2. Perform preventative maintenance tasks on equipment.
3. Perform equipment teardowns & rebuilds.
4. Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with electrical controls.
5. Run electrical conduit and wiring.
6. Fabricate and weld miscellaneous projects.
7. Replace faulty electrical components such as relays, switches, motors, and sensors.
8. Operate equipment related to maintenance tasks.
9. Communicate effectively with all levels of production staff.

Qualifications:

• 1 to 3 months of related experience or training.
• Completed courses at an accredited technical school in Maintenance Electricity, Hydraulics, Pipefitting, Industrial Maintenance Mechanics, or Electric Arc Welding.

Work Environment: The role requires standing, walking, handling, reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and talking. It involves lifting up to 25 pounds regularly, exposure to moving mechanical parts, wet/humid conditions, high places, weather, electrical hazards, and loud noise levels.
