Description

The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for handling electrical and mechanical projects for our facilities, including equipment troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance.

This position runs Monday - Friday, with the following shifts:

• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Troubleshoots and repairs various manufacturing equipment.
• Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Uses power and hand tools to perform repair and maintenance work.
• Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines, following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, and manufacturer's instructions.
• Installs, sets up, and tunes new injection molding machines or similar plastic molding systems. May install and maintain fixtures and facilities.
• Services equipment by oiling, greasing, and adding gas as required.
• Fixes potential safety hazards to prevent injuries.
• Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies efficiently to achieve job results.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Preferred two or more years of experience as an industrial mechanic.
• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and schematics.
• Skill in applying building and equipment maintenance/repair techniques.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work safely and remain alert at all times.
• Ability to work overtime with a flexible schedule, including weekends.
• Requires some pushing, pulling, or lifting objects up to 50 pounds.
