Daily duties include preventive maintenance, lubrication, and part replacements on conveyors, filling equipment, balers, and packaging machines. The role emphasizes safety, urgency, and reliability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of on-the-job mechanical experience
• 2+ years of on-the-job electrical experience preferred
• Ability to read work orders and schematics
• Use of maintenance shop tools including common hand and power tools
• Some knowledge of PLC systems is a plus
• Ability to operate a forklift safely
• High school education (Diploma or GED)

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot broken equipment and perform safe repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance according to schedule, including lubrication and part replacement.
• Assist with facility maintenance such as plumbing, electrical, cleaning, or painting.
• Manage competing priorities to keep the facility operating safely and efficiently.
