Job summary

Pioneer Metal Finishing seeks a Maintenance Mechanic for 1st shift (5:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday–Thursday) with occasional overtime. You will perform maintenance, repairs, and installations to keep plant operations running smoothly in Michigan.

The role requires hands-on experience with electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems, and a high-school diploma or technical degree is preferred. On-site work with safety and quality procedures is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Broad based knowledge of electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems.
• Technical degree with a minimum of two years work-related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance, installations, and repairs of equipment and building support systems.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions and operating difficulties.
• Responds to emergency calls on a twenty-four-hour basis.
• Maintain departmental documentation and safety/compliance procedures.
