Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a permanent onsite role in Reading, PA. This 1st shift position offers pay between $25 and $30 per hour and overtime opportunities. Direct placement with Aerotek and full-time benefits are included.

• Dismantle, move, install, and repair machinery and equipment used in production.
• Identify causes of malfunctions and plan maintenance actions.
• Use hand and power tools with testing instruments to diagnose issues and perform repairs.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production equipment, conveyors, motors, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Install new equipment and ensure proper setup and integration.
• Repair and maintain current equipment to minimize downtime.
• Care for tools and supplies to extend service life and safety.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and instructions to perform tasks accurately.
