Job summary

Perrigo is seeking a skilled Automation/Maintenance Technician in Eau Claire, WI. You will provide preventative and corrective maintenance on manufacturing, packaging, and facilities equipment to keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing equipment, supporting sterilizing and high-speed packaging lines, and maintaining compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Automation Engineering Technology, Industrial Maintenance or related technical field OR 3+ years related work experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with electrical power and industrial controls is preferred.
• Familiarity with SAP/AMM for documentation and tracking of work is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventative and corrective maintenance on manufacturing/packaging/facilities equipment.
• Support production by troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing/packaging/facilities equipment.
• Support operations on product sterilizing equipment, high speed packaging equipment, heating, ventilating, air-conditioning, high-pressure boilers and process chillers.
• Understanding of three phase electrical power and industrial controls.
• Will be required to use SAP/AMM to document and track all work.
• Follow the plant safety rules; report incidents & unsafe conditions immediately
• Follow factory safety & environmental objectives & targets
• Maintain compliance with regulations and refer to the Safety & Environmental Management System(s) on all related procedures and programs.
• Utilities area specific: Will be trained on boiler/ammonia systems. Prior knowledge of systems is beneficial.
