Hayward Holdings, Inc. in North Kingstown, RI is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic I to install, inspect, and service equipment across manufacturing areas. You will perform routine TPM-based maintenance, troubleshoot machines, and support production lines to ensure continuous operation.

The role requires reading blueprints, operating a forklift, and basic electrical/mechanical knowledge. Associates in a technical field and 4+ years of related experience are preferred.

• Reading and interpreting safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Reading blueprints is critical.
• Experience in maintenance in manufacturing environment.
• Ability to operate a forklift.

Responsabilités

• Repair existing machines and support equipment to keep production running.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines based on TPM practices.
• Order replacement parts for all machines and ensure level 1 parts are in stock.
• Assist with the setup, modification and disassembly of production lines.
• Support all lines as requested by line leaders, supervisors or managers.
• Assist in design and creation of custom equipment and assembly fixtures.
• Provide support to the facilities manager when requested.
• Record all maintenance and repair work and costs.
• Assist in creating and maintaining standard work.
• Read electrical schematics for troubleshooting equipment.
• Assist in layout and building of assembly lines and cells.
• Assist in identifying and implementing new equipment.
• Repair on production equipment as needed.

Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, Hayward also has facilities in Tennessee, Arizona, and Rhode Island, Georgia, as well as Canada, Spain, France, Australia, and China. **Position Overview:** Provide the necessary skills to install and maintain all machines and equipment used in the manufacturing areas in optimal working order.**Major Tasks and Responsibilities:**· Repairs existing machines and support equipment as needed to keep production running· Performs routine maintenance on machines based on TPM practices· Orders replacement parts for all machines as needed and ensures level 1 parts are in stock for immediate needs· Assists the manufacturing engineers with setting up, modifying and disassembly of production lines· Supports all lines as requested by line leaders, supervisors or managers to keep the lines running at full capability· Assist with the design and creation of custom equipment and assembly fixtures· Provides support to the facilities manager when requested· Records all maintenance and repair work performed and the associated costs· Assist with the creation and maintenance of standard work· Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics for trouble shooting equipment· Assist in layout, building and maintaining assembly lines and assembly cells· Assist in identifying and implementing new equipment· Assist in repair on production equipment as needed**Qualifications:**· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals· Ability to read and interpret blueprints is critical· Ability to operate a forklift· Knowledge of plumbing, carpentry and power tools· Electrical/electronic knowledge; hands-on experience on various assembly lines· Machine shop experience· Proficient in Solid Works, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite**Education and Experience:**· Associates degree preferably from a technical school with a minimum four years related experience**Physical Requirements:**While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, hear, stand and walk. The employee will frequently be required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds using proper lifting techniques. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
