Hayward Holdings Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install and maintain machines in the manufacturing areas to keep equipment in optimal working order.

You will repair existing machines, perform TPM-based maintenance, order replacement parts, and assist engineers with setting up production lines and fixtures. Strong ability to read blueprints, electrical knowledge, and hands-on skills with plumbing, carpentry, power tools, Solid Works, AutoCAD, and MS Office are essential.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a technical field is preferred with four years of related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints is critical.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Knowledge of plumbing, carpentry and power tools.
• Electrical/electronic knowledge; hands-on experience on various assembly lines.
• Machine shop experience.
• Proficient in Solid Works, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsabilités

• Repairs existing machines and support equipment as needed to keep production running.
• Performs routine maintenance on machines based on TPM practices.
• Orders replacement parts for all machines as needed and ensures level 1 parts are in stock for immediate needs.
• Assists the manufacturing engineers with setting up, modifying and disassembly of production lines.
• Supports all lines as requested by line leaders, supervisors or managers to keep the lines running at full capability.
• Assist with the design and creation of custom equipment and assembly fixtures.
• Provides support to the facilities manager when requested.
• Records all maintenance and repair work performed and the associated costs.
• Assist with the creation and maintenance of standard work.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics for trouble shooting equipment.
• Assist in layout, building and maintaining assembly lines and assembly cells.
• Assist in identifying and implementing new equipment.
• Assist in repair on production equipment as needed.

Position Overview

• Proficient in Solid Works, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite

Education and Experience

• Associates degree preferably from a technical school with a minimum four years related experience

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, hear, stand and walk. The employee will frequently be required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds using proper lifting techniques. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
