Job summary

Bauer Consulting Group, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Manager for the New Haven, CT area to lead maintenance of food processing and packaging equipment.

The role requires hands-on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic work, plus strong PLC controls experience and ability to read complex drawings. You will manage CMMS maintenance programs, develop preventive maintenance plans, manage vendor relations, and supervise a team of maintenance mechanics and technicians in a fast-paced food

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Engineering (Bachelor's degree preferred).
• At least 5 years’ Maintenance experience with Food Processing and Packaging equipment.
• Hands-on to Troubleshoot and Repair: Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic, and Pneumatic equipment.
• PLC Experience: electrical distribution, Conveyors and VFD controls in an industrial setting.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, electrical and pneumatic drawings, safety rules, operations manual, and written instructions.
• Knowledge of Welding & Fabricating, Plumbing, Carpentry, Building, Facilities and Grounds maintenance.
• Maintain the CMMS: create and implement a Preventative Maintenance, Purchase Order, and Parts Management programs.
• Develop and maintain Vendor relationships and order materials and supplies as required.
• Supervise, train and mentor Maintenance Mechanics and Technicians.
