UPS Supply Chain Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic in Louisville, KY, to perform multi-level maintenance on conveyors and related equipment. Responsibilities include interpreting blueprints, assembling and repairing machines, and ensuring preventive maintenance programs are followed.

The role requires conveyor experience, ability to read technical diagrams, and preferred PLC/automation skills. Schedule is Mon-Fri, 1:30 p.m.

Formación

• Must be able to read blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Conveyor mechanic experience required.
• PLC diagnostics and automation experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate a variety of case handling machines and conveyors.
• Fit and assemble parts to fabricate or repair machines and conveyors.
• Study blueprints, sketches, machine parts or specifications to determine type and dimensions of parts required.
• Dismantle machines, conveyors or equipment to examine parts for defects.
• Replace defective part(s) and repairs/reproduces part from various kinds of stock.
• Assemble and test machines and conveyors to verify correction of malfunction.
• Maintain and lubricate machines, conveyor tools and equipment.
• Follow all safety guidelines when performing maintenance functions.
• Maintain logs on the history of all repairs and preventive maintenance by equipment type.
• Communicate internally with Plant Engineering management, employees and managers.

Job Description:

UPS Healthcare is currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanictoperform comprehensive, multi-level technical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. The candidate will ensure compliance with all preventive maintenance programsguaranteeing a safe and efficient operation.

Additional Information:

• Must be currently located in the same geographic location as the job or willing to relocate yourself - Required (not remote)
• Location: KYVLE, 1860 Outer Loop Building 2, Louisville, KY 40219
• Job Level: Technician
• Internal Salary Grade: 008
• Work Schedule: M-F. 1:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

• Conveyor Mechanic Experience - Required
• PLC Software diagnostics and troubleshooting - Preferred
• Automation Experience - Preferred
