Job summary

Smart Resources Group is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Mechanic to support our food & beverage manufacturing operations in Sacramento, CA. The role focuses on keeping production and packaging equipment running safely and efficiently, with emphasis on preventive and corrective maintenance and rapid response to breakdowns.

You’ll troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, maintain fillers, cappers, labelers, conveyors, pumps, valves, and compressors, and document work

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance experience.
• Reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• CMMS experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Maintain fillers, cappers, labelers, conveyors, pumps, valves, and compressors.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency repairs.
• Support CIP systems and food-grade manufacturing requirements.
• Complete work orders and maintenance documentation in the CMMS.
• Follow all safety and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
