Job summary

Mondi seeks a skilled Maintenance Mechanic for our United States manufacturing plant to assemble, diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment. You will inspect for wear, disassemble/reassemble components, and ensure hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC systems operate reliably.

High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree or related certifications are a plus. 5+ years in maintenance at a manufacturing plant preferred; 41–70 lb lifting capacity and ability to stand or walk for extended periods are

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance mechanic experience in a manufacturing plant.
• 4+ years in repairing W&H Tubers and Bottomer machines preferred.
• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree or certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble or disassemble equipment or machines.
• Clean and lubricate parts and maintain machinery.
• Examine parts for wear or breakage and perform repairs.
• Maintain, repair, adjust, or lubricate machines or machinery.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions in equipment.
• Operate power or hand tools safely.
• Repair or replace electrical wiring systems or components.
• Maintain pneumatic or hydraulic systems and PLCs.
• Weld broken parts and fabricate components as needed.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in maintenance mechanic of a manufacturing plant
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in repairing W&H Tuber and Bottomer machines preferred
• Minimum of a High School Diploma
• Bachelor of Science degree or mechanic certifications preferred
• Able to Lift 41 - 70 pounds
• Able to walk or stand for at least 5 hours
• Work hours may be changed when necessary as long as the needs of the company and customers are met
