Job summary

Chemtrade is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for our Richmond, CA sulfuric acid facility to perform preventative maintenance, rebuilds, repairs, and routine upkeep while following our safety procedures.

The role requires hands-on experience, the ability to work day shift with overtime and on-call support, and a commitment to safety; compensation begins at $51.03 per hour with a raise to $54.30 after a 3-month ramp-up.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant maintenance experience in industrial or chemical environment.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to use computer effectively, Microsoft programs, maintenance management system, e-mail.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, manufacturer's literature, diagrams or schematics
• Ability to work off-shift requirements including periodic emergency call out during off shift, including weekends and holidays
• Must be capable of performing tasks in all weather conditions and at heights while wearing personal protective equipment
