About The Role

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for planned, unplanned, and preventative maintenance tasks to ensure safe and efficient operational effectiveness of equipment and systems that enable Reworld’s industrial disposal process.

Position Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance tasks per schedule to prevent equipment breakdowns and operational downtime.
• Use root‑cause analysis to investigate breakdowns and line stoppages, collaborating with various teams and stakeholders.
• Prioritize work to ensure timely maintenance, repair, and installation of equipment, tools, and utility systems while completing all required paperwork in the company’s computerized maintenance program.
• Use Reworld’s maintenance documentation program to open and close work orders, check out spare parts, and track activities.
• Repair and maintain industrial production machinery, including inspection, assembly, disassembly, and replacement as necessary.
• Observe and evaluate machinery operation to diagnose malfunctions using mechanical devices.
• Review maintenance reports and statistics to plan and modify maintenance activities.
• Inspect operating machines for conformance with operational and safety performance standards.

Position Requirements & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2–4 years’ experience in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to participate in on‑call rotations.

Physical Demands Of The Role

• Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
• Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces.
• Qualified to wear a full‑face respirator.
• Consistently work in various weather conditions.

Pay Transparency

Reworld is committed to paying its staff equitably. The following range reflects Reworld’s estimate of base pay for this role based on the primary posting location: $73,807.00 – $101,445.00. The final salary will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, geographic location, skills, and other considerations.
