Job summary

Hydro Extrusions in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to repair and maintain machinery including engines, motors, conveyors, and extrusion equipment. You will perform electrical changes, troubleshoot mechanical devices, and follow lockout/tagout procedures.

The role is dayshift, Monday through Friday, with an hourly rate of $26.26, and requires a High School Diploma or GED and prior industrial maintenance experience.

Qualifications

  • Ability to read and use a tape measure in feet/inches (required).
  • Experience maintaining industrial machinery and equipment.
  • HVAC/industrial maintenance experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment including engines, motors, conveyors, and extrusion equipment.
  • Performs electrical changes and troubleshooting on electrical systems and components.
  • Follows lockout/tagout procedures and inspects parts for wear or defects.

Shift Details

Dayshift, Monday - Friday

Hourly Rate: $26.26
What you will be doing

Summary: Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment suchas engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and aluminumextrusion production machines and equipment by performing the followingduties.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs electrical changes to blown fuses and wire plugs.
  • Repairs electrical wiring and changes hydraulic filters.
  • Does troubleshooting on mechanical devices such as presses and draw benches.
  • Performs all lockout / tag out procedures according to company policy.
  • Examines parts for imperfections.
  • Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.
  • Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.
  • Repairs and replaces defective parts. Lubricates and cleans parts.
  • Participates and is fully engaged in continuous reliability improvement of all equipment and processes.
What will make you successful?
  • Ability to read and use a tape measure that shows measurements in feet and inches. (required)
