Job summary

LMH Health is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to monitor, operate and maintain building systems equipment within a hospital setting. You will record readings, perform preventative maintenance and respond to emergency repairs to preserve hospital integrity.

Responsibilities include mechanical rounds, zone maintenance rounds, completing PMs, monitoring repairs, participating in on-call rotation and supporting other duties as needed. Regular attendance is essential in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• HVAC Certification from an accredited trade school or Technical College.
• Carpentry, painting, sheetrock skills.
• Two (2) years’ experience in hospital setting.
• Technical Training in a Craft or Trade Labor program.

Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

The Maintenance Mechanic monitors, operates and maintains building systems equipment, records appropriate readings and information, performs preventative and general maintenance on equipment and building. This position performs emergency repairs or adjustments to maintain hospital integrity.
