Spherion Staffing, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for night shift in Owatonna, MN. This direct-hire role offers full-time hours and a rotating 4-on/4-off schedule with strong pay and stability.

You will troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, perform preventive maintenance, and work with PLCs/HMI to keep production moving. No degree required; 1-4 years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in industrial maintenance or a related technical degree.
• An understanding of electrical circuits, motors, and mechanical drives.
• Comfort using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment like multimeters and calipers.
• A safety-first attitude and the ability to think on your feet in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot & Repair: Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems when machines go down.
• Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine PMs on conveyors, motors, and high-speed production machinery to prevent future issues.
• Electronics & PLCs: Work with PLCs and HMI systems to diagnose and resolve electronic faults.
• Read Schematics: Interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals to complete repairs accurately.
• Facility Upgrades: Assist with new equipment installations and ongoing facility upgrades.

Schedule: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM | Work 4 Days On / 4 Days Off
