Position Summary:

Performs diverse duties including emergency and preventive maintenance of electrical distribution, mechanical systems, HVAC, power generation, plumbing, pneumatic tube systems, medical gas systems, and building structures. Also fulfills the requirements of various departments.

Qualifications:

• Education/Training: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensure/Certification: Must have a valid Florida driver’s license and be insurable under Orlando Health’s insurance requirements. Maintenance Mechanics unable to meet this requirement after 90 days must sign a “No Driving Document,” which remains in effect until approved to drive.

Experience:

• Three (3) years of experience involving trade applications or mechanical work (automotive, industrial, or hospitality).
• One (1) year experience required if a trade or vocational school graduate (non-trade specific).
