Position Summary

Performs diverse duties including emergency and preventive maintenance of electrical distribution, mechanical systems, HVAC, power generation, plumbing, pneumatic tube systems, medical gas systems, and building structures. Also fulfills the requirements of various departments.

Qualifications

Education/Training

High school graduate or equivalent.

Licensure/Certification

• Must have a valid Florida driver’s license and be insurable under the Orlando Health insurance carrier’s requirements and standards. Maintenance Mechanics unable to maintain this requirement after at least 90 days of employment must sign a “No Driving Document,” which will be maintained in the team member’s department file until approved to drive by the insurance carriers, as determined during routine driving records checks.

Experience

Three (3) years of experience involving trade applications or mechanical work, including automotive, industrial, or hospitality. One (1) year of experience required if a trade or vocational school graduate non-trade specific.
