Responsibilities
- Perform general mechanical and preventative tasks, including inspections, services, repairs, and overhauls on equipment as directed.
- Install new equipment and systems, ensuring installations and operations comply with manufacturer specifications, applicable codes, regulations, and hospital safety policies.
- Coordinate and inspect projects, ensuring they meet quality standards within approved timeframes and comply with city/state codes and JACHO.
- Carry out routine and specific assignments to ensure the physical plant and assigned equipment are in safe operating condition and in compliance with applicable hospital policies and regulatory or accrediting codes and specifications.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Comprehensive knowledge of maintenance, repair, and safety procedures required.
