Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic (C Shift)

Job Summary

Maintenance Mechanics are responsible for repairing and maintaining production machinery and equipment. Mechanics work independently or in small teams to ensure a safe and efficient manufacturing production environment.

Essential Functions

1. Makes repairs to machinery and equipment in a timely manner.
2. Completes preventative maintenance activities on machinery and equipment based on established guidelines.
3. Reports major machinery and equipment issues and problems to Mechanic Supervisor/Manager.
4. Works with external vendors if needed to facilitate machinery and equipment repairs.
5. Prepares orders and processes for replacement parts as needed.
6. Trains Operators in basic machinery and equipment repairs.
7. Performs facility maintenance.
8. Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested.

Minimum Requirements

Specific Job Skills:

• Ability to effectively interact with individuals and groups both within and external to the company.
• Ability to analyze issues/problems and recommend effective solutions.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Proven commitment to providing excellent customer service.
• Knowledge of Solid State Electronics and DC Voltage.

Education:

High School Diploma/GED

Experience:

2+ years in a manufacturing environment.

Language Skills:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical and governmental documents. Effective writing and presentation skills.

Physical Capabilities:

Regularly required to sit, use hands, reach, talk, and hear. Occasionally required to stand, walk, and lift up to 10 pounds. Vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.
