Job summary

Staffmark Group is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic in Oakdale, CA. The role offers a pay rate of $33.00 per hour with a Monday–Friday schedule, 7:00 AM to 3:45 PM.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machines and various production equipment, while supporting downtime reduction and safe, efficient operations. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and industrial maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical, vocational, or trade school training in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, or mechanical repair preferred.
• Ongoing maintenance and safety training encouraged.
• Previous industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment required.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing CNC machines, forklifts, welders, and production equipment.
• Knowledge of 3-phase electrical systems up to 480 volts.
• Experience repairing cranes, hoists, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, motors, and controls.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machines and manufacturing equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on forklifts, welders, vehicles, trailers, cranes, and hoists.
• Inspect facility equipment and identify maintenance needs.
• Repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with production leadership.
• Recommend improvements to increase equipment performance and reliability.
• Maintain maintenance records and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Support production operations by minimizing equipment downtime.
• Perform additional maintenance duties as assigned.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment, tools, and parts as required
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work in industrial environments
• Comfortable working around machinery, electrical systems, and moving equipment
• Ability to perform maintenance tasks in varying plant conditions
