Blue Star in North Brunswick, NJ is seeking an experienced Mechanic for full-time work focused on routine maintenance of company vehicles. The ideal candidate has basic mechanical knowledge, is dependable, and can perform oil changes and tire rotations with attention to safety.

Diesel vehicle knowledge is a strong plus, and candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work independently while maintaining accurate service records.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes and tire rotations
• Inspect vehicles for wear and potential mechanical issues
• Maintain service records and report needed repairs
• Check and top off fluids (oil, coolant, brake fluid, etc.)
• Ensure tires are properly inflated and in safe condition
• Assist with basic repairs and preventative maintenance tasks
• Keep the shop and work area clean, organized, and safe
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines

Position Overview
