Maintenance MechanicWe are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machinery, equipment, and facility systems. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, practical problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. This role is responsible for keeping production equipment operating safely and efficiently through preventative maintenance and timely repairs.Experience working on forklifts is a plus.Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble, install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment.Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform routine preventative maintenance.Conduct regular inspections and testing of machinery and equipment.Develop and maintain schedules for equipment inspections, servicing, and preventative maintenance.Read, interpret, and follow equipment manuals, technical instructions, and operating procedures.Clean, repair, replace, and install equipment components and parts as needed.Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely and effectively.Identify potential equipment issues and address problems before they result in downtime.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance area.Follow all company health, safety, and environmental regulations.Perform general building and facility maintenance as assigned.Support other maintenance activities and projects as needed.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required.2+ years of experience as a maintenance mechanic, industrial mechanic, or in a similar maintenance role.Trade school or vocational training preferred.Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.Knowledge and experience using hand and power tools.Ability to read and understand equipment manuals and technical instructions.Strong computer skills and ability to use maintenance-related software or systems.Good physical dexterity and ability to perform hands-on maintenance work.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.Knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations.Forklift repair or maintenance experience is a plus.What We're Looking ForThe successful candidate will be a hands-on problem solver who takes pride in keeping equipment operating safely and reliably.
