The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all facility machinery and equipment. This position performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to minimize downtime and support continuous production.Essential FunctionsThe following duties are considered essential job functions:Perform routine preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment, including inspection, lubrication, cleaning, and adjustment.Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance needs in a timely manner.Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and take corrective action.Maintain accurate maintenance records, including work performed and parts used.Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards, company policies, and applicable regulations.Coordinate with production staff to schedule and complete maintenance with minimal operational disruption.Assist with installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment.Marginal / Non-Essential FunctionsOrder parts, maintain inventory, and coordinate with vendors.Assist in training employees on equipment operation and basic maintenance.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and team projects.Additional Duties ClauseThis position requires flexibility.
