Amentum is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic I to perform general maintenance and repair of equipment and buildings across multiple trades including painting, carpentry, electrical, plumbing and masonry.
Responsibilities include replacing motors, patching walls, repairing sinks and toilets, painting, flooring, hanging doors, and routine machinery maintenance. A high school diploma and at least five years of maintenance experience are required or equivalent training.
The Maintenance Mechanic I performs general maintenance and repair of equipment and buildings requiring practical skill and knowledge in such trades as painting, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and masonry work. Work can involve, but is not limited to, a variety of the following
duty(s): replacing motors; using plaster or compound to patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceiling; repairing or replacing sinks, water coolers, and toilets; painting structures and equipment; repairing or replacing concrete floors, steps, and sidewalks; replacing damaged paneling and floor tiles; hanging doors and installing door locks; and performing general maintenance on equipment and machinery. Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
US $42.15 per hour
